Meet the Doctor

After 5 years of army service, Dr. Bryant returned home to Maine and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Southern Maine. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology in 1999. Dr. Bryant immediately set off to St. Louis, MO and entered Logan College of Chiropractic. In early 2001, he earned his second undergraduate degree; this time a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from Logan College of Chiropractic. Dr. Bryant successfully completed his chiropractic training in December 2002. He became licensed to practice chiropractic in the state of Maine in May 2003. Dr. Bryant has studied several specialized techniques in chiropractic. He underwent a lengthy certification process in both Applied Kinesiology (AK) and Chiropractic Plus Kinesiology (CPK). He is the only practitioner of CPK in New England. Dr. Bryant has also undergone an abundance of nutrition and vitamin training with several well-known professional supplement companies. One of these lectures was by Dr. Jeff Spencer, D.C. Dr. Spencer is the chiropractor of 7-time Tour De France winner Lance Armstrong. Dr. Spencer covered topics from supplementation during chronic disease to vitamins and nutrition for athletes. Dr. Bryant loves participating in all aspects of health care. Whether the patient is a hard-working mechanic that sprains his back or a 2-year-old child with chronic ear infections Dr. Bryant knows what to do. He loves spending time doing about any outdoors activity when he is not at Old Orchard Beach Chiropractic. His most treasured times are spent road cycling, mountain biking and rock climbing with his wife Shannon. |

Dr. Steve Bryant, D.C. is a Maine native. He was raised in Old Orchard Beach and graduated from the Old Orchard Beach school system. Shortly after graduating high school in 1991, Dr. Bryant enlisted in the U.S. Army. He discovered chiropractic after sustaining a low back injury that seemed to perplex the doctors at the army hospital. Upon regaining his prior health through chiropractic care; Dr. Bryant decided to train to become a chiropractor.
